About me
Steve is an Engineer with Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence specializing in portable metrology automation solutions. His career is focused on helping metrology users efficiently achieve repeatable inspection results, accurate alignments, and improved production outcomes in industries like aerospace, shipbuilding, and energy. He has been a regular attendee of CMSC since 2011.
Steve was introduced to high accuracy, large volume metrology at Brookhaven National Laboratory where he was tasked with inspecting and aligning components for the NSLS-II accelerator. Steve holds degrees in Geomatics Engineering and Civil Engineering from Purdue University. He currently resides in Indianapolis with his wife and four kids. When he’s not working or at his kids’ events, Steve can be found outside puzzling neighbors while attempting to photograph insects on native plants. His wife recently added “mothing” to her list of banned party conversation topics.
