About me
I began my career in the US Army as a 21L (Pershing Electronic Repairman), where I gained specialized skills in repairing nuclear missiles. This role provided me with a strong foundation in electronics and precision repair techniques. After my military service, I transitioned to GE Power as a machinist. During my 20-year tenure at GE Power, I held various roles that allowed me to expand my expertise and leadership skills.
One of my significant roles at GE Power was as a Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma, where I led process improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and quality. This experience paved the way for my specialization in CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) and CNC (Computer Numerical Control) programming. In this capacity, I developed and optimized programs to ensure precise measurements and machining operations.
Additionally, I contributed to the gage lab by writing policies and procedures for calibration, ensuring that all equipment met stringent accuracy standards. My work in the gage lab was instrumental in maintaining the reliability and performance of measurement tools.
After my time at GE Power, I joined Hexagon Metrology as an Application Engineer. Over my 9-year tenure at Hexagon Metrology, I performed high-level programming and provided training to clients, helping them maximize the capabilities of their metrology equipment. My role involved solving complex measurement challenges and delivering tailored solutions to meet diverse industry needs.
For the past 8 years, I have been with GE Aerospace, where I lead a team of programmers at our Hooksett facility. In this role, I oversee the development and implementation of advanced programming techniques for CMMs. I also work on establishing and refining standards and practices to ensure consistency and excellence across GE Aerospace. My efforts contribute to the company's goals in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC), with a strong emphasis on safety.
Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a commitment to continuous improvement, precision, and operational excellence. My diverse experiences have equipped me with a unique skill set that I leverage to drive innovation and quality in aerospace manufacturing.
