About me
Rilyn Fox earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities in 2022. Later that year, he joined the Center for Precision Metrology at the University of North Carolina – Charlotte to pursue his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering. As a research assistant, Rilyn has completed various projects focused on large scale defect detection using structured light scanning. He has completed several projects for Honeywell and Boeing, under the supervision of Dr. Edward Morse. Outside of work, Rilyn enjoys playing trumpet, beating his friends in board games, and cheering on Minnesota’s sports teams.
