Keith Bevan is the National Physical Laboratory's (NPL) Head of Manufacturing Training, responsible for the delivery network activities of NPL's training framework, training materials and quality of delivery.
Keith has been involved in measurement for 40 years having joined Rolls-Royce Ltd (aero engines) in 1975 as an apprentice working across a range of metrology activities including engine testing, manufacturing, co-ordinate metrology and calibration. During the mid-1980s Keith was employed at Jaguar Cars working in a variety of co-ordinate metrology roles. In late 1989 Keith embarked on a new career in training and education and is still actively involved in passing on his experience to others.
